University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
i need to look for a house to move in next year, ive posted threads to gather some people and move in a house together next year...but no luck so far. I was wondering whether Liverpool has any meetups with students like me? any social events for housing?

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!second year next year, wasnt v.lucky with flatmates this year and coursemates want to live with their flatmates.. there will probs be loads of spare rooms around june, but i was worried that theyll all be really close friends and it would just be awkward...(Original post by Haychee)
Are you a second year? Or a fresher that hasn't got in to halls? -
Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
Hey, I'm also searching for someone to move in a house next year. I'm a first year student and tbh I don't want to live in private halls cause they are quite expensive and I was hoping to share a house with a few more people, but so far I can't find anyone cause everyone seems to have made their own plans. So my hope is there will be some volunteers here

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
I'm in te same position - looking for people to share a house with. I'll be a first year student from September but since it's just me... I can't rent a whole house. I'm a girl by the way if that's relevant.
I'm just goin through the threads and fingers crossed someone will want me as a housemate!! haha

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
hi, ive got a single room available in st andrews gardens liverpool- right next to the uni! Rent is £75 week which is a bargain for being so close to the uni, shops and train station. There would however be a one off admin fee to change adressee details (£75) but would still work out cheaper than other houses! Google mansion student accomm for pics. Please message me if your interested!

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
Often people put ads up look for an extra student in library & faculty toilets - have a look there perhaps? Also, various housing agencies can find you a group who rents with them who are looking for one extra person, so try ringing around. I'm with Kexgill which deals with students living in Kensington, but there should be other agencies too. Not sure if "Liverpool Student Homes" could help you out perhaps??

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
Hi,
We have a spare room in our house from September! It's £105pw with bills and the room is a large double, there's parking and loads of living space. It's 10 minutes or less from all uni buildings and the centre. Let me know if any of you are still looking!

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
looks like I'm starting a phd in october! need somewhere to live, close to uni as possible really (kensington/edge hill sort of areas) as i'll be on crutches, would rather live with postgrads who don't go out every night like we did as freshers! house with bills included would be ideal. any girls with a suitable house/flat or looking to buddy up and find somewhere let me know

Hey, I think we're still looking for housemates. The house is off Picton Road, so not quite as close as I think you want, but it's only a 10 min bus ride/ 20 minute walk.
It's a 5 bedroom house, and so far the two of us who are definitely living there are both starting MA's in september. There are a couple of other girls who may possibly be interested in some of the rooms, but they are final year/MA students as well. The rent is £55 a week which includes gas/water/electric + TV licence and internet. Let me know if you're interested

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
Hi all,
I'll be a part-time postgrad starting in September.
I'll also be working, so looking for people who like the odd night out but are not massive party-animals!
Preferably looking for somewhere near to the Uni/South of the city/Wavertree.
Let me know if you're interested

Re: University of Liverpool Student Housing?!?!?!
I'm dropping out so there is a room available in Kensington (5-10 mins walk from uni), house is mixed - 2 guys from UOL and 2 girls from LJMU, all 2nd years.
The room is a double furnished room room at the top of the house, so perfect if you like your privacy but everyone is very friendly and happy to welcome anyone. Rent is around £67pw
Let me know if you are interested! -
