Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IINot nattering, sharing fellowship(Original post by Facticity)
It is surprising about Willow, he joined way after a lot of the the guys who posted did. Then again, in the last few months he's been as active as you. If anything, at times, its just him and you nattering away
It won't be pain free if natural
But we can defo pray. Good luck to her!
I'm impressed. Or worried for you work. Not sure which...
I never got that stereotype. I love kids. I even work with kids. But then again, I'm perfectly open to the possibility that I'm odd.
Though, I don't want a kid now, if thats what you meant by men running away

I don't want one now either...but when my mum was ranting that I should know what I want to do job wise earlier, the only thing I know I want is to have a family...not really fussed about the rest
-
Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IIwhy am I oddly?? I've been posting in here for well over a year.(Original post by Facticity)

Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.III'm not great with babies but really excited about this one (partly because it's like getting a baby sister, since this woman's my mother figure, and partly because this means she'll FINALLY stop treating me like the baby she doesn't have(Original post by greeneyedgirl)
Ooo how exciting! I do love babies (this is the point where all the men run away from me
) shall be keeping them in my thoughts!
)
Thanks for praying for them
I know. Logic isn't her strong point(Original post by Facticity)

Ahh natural isn't all that bad, apparently strengthens bond between mother and child, increases chances of breast feeding, also means periods hold off for longer

Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IINot at all, although me and Facticity seem to be exceptions to quite a few stereotypes...(Original post by greeneyedgirl)

(I think you'd make an amazing mother)
Facticity: I do plenty of work... I just also have a lot of time where the.PC is doing stuff so I can't continue until it's done! Although I'll admit that GEG does make rather wonderful, spammy, company!
Edit: urgh this thread moves too fast to follow on my phone! I'm doing what I said I would an hour ago and going to sleep!Last edited by EEngWillow; 19-12-2011 at 23:38. -
Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.II
This is exciting
NEW THREAD YAY.
I want a baby. I said this very loudly when I was shopping in Edinburgh yesterday. My friend looked slightly embarrassed and then persuaded me I didn't. She looked even more embarrassed when I announced to the entire shop that I'd have cats instead, because that doesn't require a partner, and then I can call them whatever I want without having to worry about them being bullied, because cats are nicer than people, so my future kitten Obi Wan will be fine.
I need to realise that things that sound good in my head don't when I say them out loud... -

I've said pretty similar things in Glasgow
Also I still have mega ceilidh bruises from Friday...literally my hip is black and yellow and my foot is still slightly swollen. Mind you I saw one girl whose toe was covered in blood who was being carried by a bouncer...looks like a stiletto had gone through her nail or something! -
Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IIThats alright then(Original post by greeneyedgirl)
Not nattering, sharing fellowship
I don't want one now either...but when my mum was ranting that I should know what I want to do job wise earlier, the only thing I know I want is to have a family...not really fussed about the rest

I know what you mean. I can't see myself being single forever or even in a stable long term relationship/marriage without kids. So I wouldn't think you're that odd.
I meant it was odd you weren't higher(Original post by rainbowbex)

I was expecting you to beat Willow so I thought it odd

Also, will just(Original post by The_Lonely_Goatherd)
OK guys, VERY important prayer request:
My ex-tutor Alex (one of my mother figures too!) is pregnant and is due to give birth to a baby girl on Christmas Day! Please can we all keep her, her husband and the baby in our prayers this week for a safe and relatively pain-free delivery (the nutcase wants a natural birth
). Who knows: this could be the Second Coming
this as she is my current tutor!

Well I understand, I quite like cats
Though, my brother being allergic to cat hair means sadly we can't have one
When I move out and he comes to my house, he better bring some anti-histamines

Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IISame with my dad and bro, allergic to cats/dogs. They will suck it up and deal with it. Although I'd rather have pet pigs (seriously, want pet pigs in my life.)(Original post by Facticity)

Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.II
I knew that
EDIT: Wait. I could have sworn TLG was Woosta and the newbie is St. Anne. That's not the same college
Anyway, I'm off to bed for now folks! Well, I probably won't actually be asleep for a while yet but I'm off TSR anyway. So nighty nighty to all
Less than a week to Christmas

And the tutor in question used to be at Worcester when TLG was and is now at Hilda's/Anne's where I am, it's not quite as weird as it sounds! (admittedly makes me sound more stalkery than I intended though)
I haven't been stalking you, honestly! Thanks(Original post by greeneyedgirl)

Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IIThe bad boy is back in the game.
For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16A
And I am not losing my faith in God but I will admit something to Him, hope He won't be offended - God, I am disappointed that you closed a door to me right a few days before Xmas. Forgive me but it's true.
I pray that whatever happens from now on, I'll keep my faith strong and that I succeed in my longing to live and die amongst Britain and its family like Oz and NZ.Last edited by BADBOY89; 20-12-2011 at 00:13. -
Re: TSR Christian Society Mk.IIMaybe 1 Corinthians 10:13? We did it in Bible study fairly recently and sounds familiar...(Original post by Jemine1)
There's a verse i've been looking for for ages now! It basically says the Lord will never give up temptation that we cannot bear. If anybody can find the reference, I will be so grateful
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
