Films your most looking forward to in 2012!

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

No-one excited for World War Z? Glasgow looked so cool when they were filming it. Sounds like a decent film too.

Also very much looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises and the Amazing Spiderman.
It's on my list above. :p: Just Marc Foster's name is enough to interest me though, let alone Brad Pitt and the supposedly great book it's based off.

My opinion on this topic is more important than anyone else's because I studied film and tv studies at Brunel, so I deserve my own thread, yet I am showing enormous modesty by honouring this thread instead.

    Anyway:

    1. The Hobbit
    2. The Amazing Spider-Man
    3. The Avengers
    4. Snow White and the Huntsmen
    5. Prometheus
    6. The Hunger Games
    7. The Dark Knight Rises
    8. Brave

Defiantly "The Dark Knight Rises". I've been hyped over this for AGES.

THE HUNGER GAMES! I read the books and loved them (although the very first one was always my favourite)

DKR and the Hobbit mostly. And also Django Unchained. Tarantino has gone all out with his casting for this one, hoping it's a cracker.

I was excited for 'Cloud Atlas', but now I'm not too sure...

Directors are good, story is good (provided they don't butcher it in the adaptation), but the cast looks atrocious! :/

    The Artist.
    The Great Gatsby.
    My Week With Marilyn
    The Iron Lady
    Another Earth
    The Lady
    War Horse
    Dreams of a Life

    - A few of those came out at the end of 2011, but haven't had a chance to catch them yet. The Artist particularly looks incredible.

The Great Gatsby, Perks of Being a Wallflower (not sure when that's actually coming out though) and War Horse.

Oh, and the pointless 3D rerelease of Beauty and the Beast. :awesome:
