Theres 0800 923 0388 but to be honest, no number is any good. The scheduling team do not take in coming calls and there is no number for them. Every number just gets through to people who take messages and then forward them on to the scheduling team.

I've given up waiting for my schedule to come through now. Have been ready for weeks and weeks and didnt hear nothing until tonight when a woman phones asking if i can work at the hilton hotel tonight. Told her it was too short notice and that i have other commitments so cant just work straight away, told her id be able to work from next week. Said theres nothing at the moment and ill hear back next week. Its a joke. If they are so desperate for people why are g4s telling me they dont have work for me next week???
    Thank you for the reply

Just got through to a very helpful lady on the 0800 number, so fingers crossed

    Hey,

I'm working there on Saturday on X-ray. What role are you doing?
So they actually have xray machines at the hilton then?

I pretty much given up, waiting for g4s. I tried contacting via email, get nothing or automatic reply. Call them and either get no help or email these department or will take your details and someone will get back to you within 72 hours. Am feed up of trying to get through and get things moving. I can't afford to make the trip to London to try and see if I got accreditation/uniform. Am not wasting my own time and money when I don't whether I got the job. I been in the process since December I should have been one of the first start yet am not. If I don't get shift far as am care they will not get a penny from me for my sia licence. As why should I pay when it because of them I haven't got the work.

I too have been in the process since december and should have started weeks and weeks ago. Ive given up also and will not be paying them anything for my sia. Ive already been paid for some days training, lets hope they pay me for the rest. Going to apply for other events roles and make use of my sia license. If my schedule gets emailed through then its a bonus if not then screw them.

So I have all my role specific training sorted. I have my accreditation and I have my uniform (I rang em up and said "When can I expect to get it" and the lady said just come and collect , it's fine )

What do I do? I'm here and ready to work. Should I drop into a local venue like Stratford or Wembley and ask for them to post me. Nobody has contacted me from scheduling btw.

 G4S could not organise a party in a brewery, even if someone supplied the booze

My son has done one shift and after one night is ready to quit, but can he or we on his behalf get through to the schedulers? Can he/we f***? He is prepared to put in the hours but doing what he was trained for, not watching a field for 12 hours without any food, he did not take any as was told it would be supplied.

The scheduled transport has never turned up but he had his car so drove, taking two of them to the site.

He is in the middle of nowhere with no mobile signal and no internet access so we are trying to sort this for him.

I have tried 0207 536 1994, but someone answers and then hangs up. Are there any other numbers please?

    Thanks

Is this the number for scheduling?

I've been trained and I've been given accreditation (since the start of the month!!! )

Does this mean I have passed screening and vetting? Nobody has emailed me from screening and vetting. Only that email from accreditation department to pick up my Oyster and accreditation pass.

I haven't even been officially asked to collect uniform.... even though I have it already!!

    Try emailing:

hrteamlondon2012@uk.g4s.com, they can help by the way with your son's query

So I e-mailed the Accreditation department at this e-mail acr.department@uk.g4s.com and they replied asking I fill out a form and send a picture of my I.D ... Don't really want to send a photocopy of my passport and via e-mail as they should already have it... Can't find the e-mail on their website either. Has anybody else had to do this?

Ahh. Could u let me into some information about the venue and how the shift/breaks? Also I'm wondering if it's completely fine to wear my own shoes instead of those boots that were given to us.

I have to since I emailed them too. Funny thing is they should have all this information and fill the form in themselves to send. And i went down to the UDAC after training to see if my accreditation was available, but it wasn't so they made me fill in a similar form. The people at the UDAC said they would call me back within 5 days but obviously they haven't. Tbh my point is LOCOG is a big as mess as G4S is.
