Nope it came in the post
Was this before or after training? Lol they're so un organized it's untrue. It's not like I'm demanding to be trained either, I just want a reply from my emails and they won't reply.

It was during my training. Why don't you phone up the helpline and ask to speak to their team leader see if you can go higher to get an answer

No it doesn't even say the role; it is very general contract

Completed SIA training on Thursday. How long before you find out if you've passed and get the licence?

They might not even contact you to tell you, you passed. I had to contact them too find out whether I passed. Licence all depends on if you passed screening&vetting and locog accreditation. It can take up 4 to 10 weeks depends when g4s send it to sia. It took them six weeks after my course for them to actually send it to sia. The sia were very quick with my licence. It took them 12 days from application going on the system till it was granted. So from course to actually licence in hand almost 8 weeks. Yet I still had no confirmation that my screening and vetting and locog accreditation is clear. Though I presume so as I was told in an email that they won't send it till that's all cleared.

I had my interview back in December, am yet to complete all my training and started training in March. All I would say is don't get your hopes up, they interviewed like 100,000 people for about 10,000 position. So there definitely people who won't get the work. SIA licencing is taking 4 to 10 weeks. I would say your chance are slim of actually working the Olympics. Sorry to say this but it's the truth. I don't know if I'll be working yet myself. All subject to training.

there is an even longer wait- after you have passed G4S screening they send it to Locog accreditation which also takes several weeks. I have been waiting 6 weeks for my Locog accreditation (after my G4S screening took 7 weeks) so unfortunately it's a lot of waiting

To anyone waiting to be contacted for accreditation. If you have passed screening and vetting, i reckon you can just turn up without an invite and collect it. When i went, i turned up an hour before i was supposed to and not one person asked to see a copy of my invitation email. They only asked for my passport. It took 10 minutes to get. If you live in london, why not just turn up and see what happens?? When the accreditation invite email comes through just ignore it as when you collect your pass it will be logged on their system

You are assigned a time and date to collect your uniform, which suggests this is not possible.
Im talking bout accreditation not uniform

In either case, they would have to check your name against the system, wouldn't they? :holmes:
They dont check if your booked in or not. G4s arent at the accreditation place its locog.

    Hello,

Pls help !! Anyone knows the phone number to re-schedule the SIA door supervisor training? or the email address? I've lost all my emails from the inbox. Do you know if the training is for 4 or 5 days? It said on the email it takes 5 days.

    Thanks !!

Yeah, although it says Mon-Fri, you should get either Thurs or Fri off (but you'll be paid for the whole 5 days).

Thurs & Fri is physical intervention and there's too many people in a class to do it together, so it's split in to halfs
Cool. My surname begins with H though so I bet I'll be in the first half that get Thursday off I'm guessing, I'd much prefer Friday off!
