They so disorganised reminds me of Angard staffing another company who couldn't deliver what they promised for Royal Mail Christmas casuals last December. Try emailing them mate securinglondon2012@uk.g4s.com.
Thanks already emailed G4s .... I keep getting the same generic reply please be patient! it's a joke!

G4S are starting to annoy me. I called them 2 months ago saying I can't carry on. I emailed them twice now saying I can't work this summer. They even replyed back saying we assume you don't want to do training so all your sessions have been cancelled! Lulwut?

Now they contacted my referees, who just told me that they put a good word in for me.... G4S still think I'm going to actually work for them. I hate these people.

Does anyone know the right number to call to finish this.

    EDIT: got number nvm

*sigh* Just got an email from the SIA saying they have sent me a letter in the post regarding that my SIA license application isn't complete.

    ...nothing ever goes smoothly.

I was given my 'role-specific' training on Monday, for this Friday (22nd). They said they would e-mail the details but they haven't yet - anyone know who I should contact if I've not been e-mailled tomorrow?

Cheers mate, I'm going to be at Gateshead though! I'm pretty sure they said 8am-5pm at the location I've been given for SIA training, but this is the role-specific training I believe... couldn't recall everything because it was over the phone. Guess I'll just turn up then if I receive no e-mail and hope I got it spot on.

You're entitled to pay after doing 5 shifts at the events, dunno when they're paid but.

    What's the 4 days for?

Yeah was told I'd be picked up on Tuesday.
Have heard nothing more about transport or accommodation. Just received a confirmation email to tell me the itinerary of the 4 days.

Are you doing the X-ray training? what's the guard training like?
