I don't know why g4s are so bad at organising and even communicating with each other.
I have been booked for the same role specific training one day after another at different locations. I emailed them about it and they actually replied in a day and said to just attend whichever one I like (obviously the one where I don't need to wake up at 4am!)
I've also finally received an email saying I can pick up my accreditation pass!! but they happened to schedule it on the same day as my training (well done again, g4s). I sent a quick email to reschedule it, to which I received a very prompt reply.

Anyone else got Guard Training on friday (6th) at stratford?
Anyone know why I need to dress 'smart casual'?! Not really sure what they mean with smart casual because that usually means heels for me lol but I'm guessing its not needed for the position..

Interested to know how to approach them whether accreditation is ready? My screening completed and awaiting SIA license as well as LOCOG accreditation. Haven't even got notification from UDAC to collect the uniform.

Not sure if it's correct to send an email to this address, but I got my accreditation invitation this morning from Acr.Department@uk.g4s.com

I haven't come across that trainee thrown out of training because of cloth. Apart from very fancy clothes, all normal dress should be ok.

IF ANYBODY IS STILL WAITING FOR ACCREDITATION JUST TURN UP AT UDAC ON 101 STEPHENSON STREET, LONDON, THEY WILL GIVE YOU IT.

Im down in London from Glasgow for role specific xray training and decided I wasnt going to wait to be back in Glasgow to get a call to come and collect accreditation so just turned up, as did 100+ others on my training course and we all got accreditation within 5mins. Lack of communication as usual. Just turn up and get it so you can start working ASAP.

"Not sure if it's correct to send email"...do you think that it has negative impact to the employment? If yes, I will wait for email lolz..

What did you do? Did you just ask if they had your acccredidation certificate and they just gave it to you? I'm probably gonna go there tomorrow if that's the case cos the way i've had to wait is taking the piss

    Point of curiosity:
    1. Have you received email from them asking you to collect?
    2. When you passed your screening process?
    3. Have you received your SIA license already?

The reason for asking above questions are I haven't received my SIA license yet, my screening and vetting process completed approximately 15 days ago (they called all of my 4 references). I have already got payroll number from G4S.

    Any suggestions?

Email them. The worse that can happen is you get no reply, or they reply with a "please wait for an email to confirm your accreditation (blah blah)".

Or just turn up like cstewart91 said

What's the deal with your travelling and accommodation expenses?

I've been asked to go down for the psa xray training in a couple of weeks.

Okay, me and my friend turned at the accreditation place, basically they need photo id, they type your name in and then if you passed screening and vetting and its been 4 weeks you'll pop up then they'll write your name and stuff, then you take your photo - so make sure you look decent the picture is big and on both sides. Next you queue for it to be printed. On your way out you get your little sexy pink oyster and BAM you'r ready to work =)

To the people just turning up without invitation to collect uniform and Accreditation, where do you collect the passes and uniform from? Also, my application has been passed onto accreditation and I passed screening a few months ago and I am having SIA training this weekend. How realistic is it that if I just turn up to collect my uniform and pass that I will get it?

Very interested to know all of these. G4S sent my name for accreditation a month ago but still haven't got any email from them; asking me to collect the accreditation from them. Did you collect your uniform too?
