TSR Ski Trip pick up points
Finally have some times for you for the trip pick up points
There will be 2 coaches
Coach 5: Manchester Picadilly - 19:00 30/03/12
Chafford Hundred - 23:30 30/03/12
Dover - 01:00 31/03/12
Coach 6: Chafford Hundred - 23:30 30/03/12
Dover - 01:00 31/03/12
We should be in resort by about 15:00 - 17:00 31/03/12
It's a long trip but i've done it 6 times now and it's bearable, everyone's usually really excited for the first few hours then tired after the ferry so if you're lucky you'll sleep a good chunk of it then we'll get DVDs on and before you know it we're in resort. There will of course be stops at service stations (they're better in france) for breakfast and lunch and once more at the supermarket at the bottom of the mountain. -

I hope that's sarcasm
Haven't heard anything yet but most of the Ski-Alpine staff are in resort at the moment. I'm out there with them tomorrow so will hopefully have an answer for you in a week or so.
(yes i realise this still isn't really an answer, haha, sorry best i can do right now) -

Re: TSR Ski Trip pick up points"When will I hear about departure times/points, and other holiday information?(Original post by rawt)
Do you know where abouts in london it will be so I can start looking at train tickets then?
You will be e-mailed a couple of weeks prior to the trip with pick up times and exact points."
From this. A tube station has been suggested, so travel won't be an issue. -
Re: TSR Ski Trip pick up pointsBut - I believe I'm right in saying - coaches have to pay to use slots there, whereas finding a tube station with a big carpark will be free.(Original post by rorydaredking)
Surely the smartest london pickup would be victoria coach station?? -

The London pick up point varies, I've been picked up from Hatton Cross and Victoria in the past so will just have to wait and see closer to the time.(Original post by Drewski)

I'm not sure if I already mentioned this but there will be a northern pick-up (also unknown atm) and SKi-Alpine will be in contact closer to the time to organise it. -
Re: TSR Ski Trip pick up pointsBold bit, definitely confirmed in all but location, then? Good news(Original post by K)

Re: TSR Ski Trip pick up pointsQuite.(Original post by Valjean)
Yeah. Being able to book advance train tickets would be nice.
Or book coaches/arrange drop offs. The more notice the better. What do you reckon the odds are?

Re: TSR Ski Trip pick up pointsWe might be lucky and get 48 hours notice! Never know(Original post by Drewski)
