F322 specimen mark scheme is wrong!

Heptane is C7H16, but you've written C7H14 - ie heptene.

First, clarify which one you mean :p:

My answer was C7H14 + 1102 ----> 7CO2 + 8H2O

Mark scheme said C7H14 + 11.502 ----> 7CO2 + 8H2O

This would be wrong on the mark scheme as it give 23 oxygens on reactants side and 22 on the products side.


Your answer would be wrong for heptane as you have used heptene...

... but it's also wrong for heptene as you have 14 hydrogens on the left and 16 on the right.
