    Losing appetite
Hello I was hoping someone could offer me a bit of advice...over the last two weeks I have lost my appetite, I hardly have a meal now, even when I feel really hungry I'll make myself a bowl of pasta and I can only manage a few spoonfuls, before I feel full. Even xmas day was the same, I couldnt manage a whole plate of dinner and it just went into the fridge. Yesterday all I had was two slices of pizza, and that was it. I never used to be like this; I usually love food and cooking, but over the last couple of weeks I just can't be bothered, and whenever people offer me a snack I just turn it down because I have no appetite, even though I may have had nothing all day.

I have always have been around 8 stone, but I noticed I lost some weight this week and it gave me a bit of a shock, not to mention how tired I feel because I obviously have no energy. I bought loads of nice food in for xmas, and its still all in the fridge/freezer going to waste, its not like me to feel like this at all.

Has anyone had experience of this, is there anything that helps keep your appetite up?? I am thinking of going to my GP if its still the same in a few weeks.

Try eating things like bananas, vegetables and wholemeal bread as they may coax back your appetite rather than heavy foods like pasta and pizza.
