Can anyone tell me about writing a research question, I don't know how to get 3 marks out of it?
& for a hypothesis is null, no difference and alternate one tailed or a two tailed one? but if its for a correlation don't write it in terms of difference but relationship? Does anyone know how to work out what the data is and what test to use I always get really confused and can never remember If I dont include a stat anaylsis how many marks would you lose? xxx

Could rearrange that to MAPS, although that wouldnt be in the correct order of how you write them :P

For the research question you MUST operationalise it!

I would write about Watson and Raynor, which is the one with Little Albert, or Skinner which is conditioning on rats.

    Ah, yes! Thankyou

They totally slipped my mind, just because I'm trying not to overload myself with A2 studies. My teacher told me we can still get full marks with AS studies :P

    Thanks)

We were told today that if they need to make the grade boundaries really high, they'll dock marks from people who use two AS studies in the same questions.

That's only an if though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Dreading this exam because I’ve taken the massive gamble of only revising the approaches/debates that haven’t come up. So if OCR are mean and repeat something that’s already come up I’m sure to fail miserably

What’s more it’s my birthday tomorrow.. great way to celebrate my 18th *feels sorry for self*

s**t I don't even know how to go about doing a correlation.... All I can think of is sort of if it was memory doing a memory test and plotting the results of boys against girls on a scatter graph and spear-mans rank. For observation, would you have to list if you plan to use time or event sampling and a table for recording the behavior. Can anyone please help me with a good way of remembering the stat tests for stat analysis ?? xxx

I thought I’d take the risk, if they don’t come up I can always retake in June, and it’ll be an okay one to retake anyway because it’s relevant to G543 which I’ll be doing then. I’d rather not retake though so let’s hope the right ones come up.

And thanks.. hope all goes well for you too

What would be a well structured answer for a compare two approaches question on section B? Would you have to compare like one approach is better than the other or more simple eg developmental has a tendency to have limited samples and so does individual differences?

    Confusedddd

Can't wait for this exam to be over!
