I don't think there's anything weird about asking for his opinion at all.
Ahh I'm glad people are saying it's not weird
It's so small he most probably wouldn't notice unless I pointed it out.
I'll definitely ask his opinion first before going to the doctor - although I know he'll make me go to the doctor anyway! -
