But the reason for this poll is just to figure out which one has higher chances of coming, and then we can be better prepared and feel proud in the exam when our voted anthology comes.

Can someone please help me with notes for Out, Out urgently? Please help me quickly. Attach the notes or send me a link. 60% chance of Out, Out for Tuesday; however, I think it will be unknown girl or electricity comes to cocoa bottom (electricity has more chance because it's not come since 2008) ! I don't think it will be Out, Out guys so be prepared! Write off disabled because the theme of war and suffering was already dealt with in Jan 2012 under refugee blues.

This poll is so misleading. You guys have voted an extract/poem more than once; futhermore, you guys have voted for different extracts at the same time! Stick to your choice, and vote only one extract as your final decision. Don't mislead others! Also, there aren't 17 people who have voted - there are only a group of 9 people who crazily went and voted so many extracts at once. So, we don't have a true picture of what's going to come like we did in paper 1. I think it will be unknown girl 95% and 5% electricity comes to cocoa bottom because it hasn't come since Nov 2008

If one person votes 5 different things then what's the use? Everybody is just saying revise everything, and thus there is no particular anthology standing out, as in paper 1. But necklace has come a couple of time in the "so called legacy IGCSE, which was the golden IGCSE compared to ours" so why can't it come in our IGCSE too?

Disabled or out, out weren't in the legacy IGCSE so there are no past paper questions with those; however, you can find a couple of questions in the Edexcel student book for English, but you have to remember doing past papers right now isn't very helpful as the exam is tomrrow: please don't get me wrong, and I'm not discouraging you, but I'm motivating you, for doing past papers now isn't going to make a big difference to your grade! As per your electricity request, I can confidently say:

You can also get a question on that from the student book, which is just written for fun. It's no real help.

I sat the normal Edexcel GCSE last year and An Unknown Girl came up (but we had a different anthology). Nothing describes how much I hate that poem!!!

I think the point here is not to 'do' past papers but to predict what will come up: if a poem came up last year, chances are it won't come up again this year.

Lol, chill. The poll is pretty pointless, because you have no idea what's going to come up. Last year, for section B we had to write about 1 of 12 non-fiction extracts that we have studied, and we got given the one that had already come up 2/3 times in past papers. You just don't know!

An Unknown Girl is the only poem I did from that list. I'll PM you my notes for it if you want (there's quite a lot though! so brace yourself!)
