    RAD Grade 6 Ballet
I was thinking of starting ballet again: I have done a bit of grade 5 ballet a year ago and am going to change the dance school because my former school's lessons has lessons really early in the afternoon and i do not think that i would be able to come back in time.

Has anyone done Grade Six before?
Do you know roughly how long it would take to complete the grade?
And do you know what the regulation uniform would be?
Also, do you have to do pointe straight away? D:

    Thanks xD

Hey, I haven't done ballet for a long time, but could answer a few of these I guess!
My dance school skipped grade 6,7,8 for some reason and went straight to advanced...weird!
How old are you? If you're an adult / in an adult ballet class then you'll probably not be required to wear a leotard etc. but maybe leggings and a top or something?
If you haven't danced in a while, there's not way they'll let you go on to point without getting back in to it and strengthening up first

I really wanted to do a class a week this year at uni, but the societies classes ran on a wednesday afternoon when I do all my sport, which is a shame! Enjoy

Grade six is a long grade, took my class 2 years to complete, however some of us could have taken it earlier. There's no pointe work in the exam so you don't have to worry about that and we wore the regulation navy sleeveless leotard and light pink tights.
    Grade six was fun though!
