Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentAre they definitely not there? I watched one yesterday and had to trawl through pages of irrelevant pages before I found it (even though I typed in the exact name).(Original post by Welsh_insomniac)
I'm a little dissapointed with Icheckmovies as a website. There are a few films I've watched now which aren't listed on the site... so I cannot check them

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentThanks, Anna! I have found them in the end. I was confused when it wasn't in the first page... I had to scroll through 5 pages to find what I wanted... very odd(Original post by >Anna<)

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experiment
Just watched the coolest film ever made.

Glad you found them in the end at least though.(Original post by Welsh_insomniac)

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experiment
I'm definitely in! My New Year's resolutions was to read more and expose myself to more music, so naturally I'll be doing the books and music lists.

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentHaha, no worries. It seems they deliberately hide what you're looking for to try and convince you to buy premium membership so you can do more advanced searches(Original post by Welsh_insomniac)

On a more serious note I'm about to watch "4 luni, 3 saptamâni si 2 zile" (4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days) I've been meaning to watch it for a while now and I've heard some fantastic things about it.
What did you think of Red, Anna? I watched it recently too... I wasn't really sure what to expect from it but found it to be a bit of a disappointment. Some bits were funny (the pig incident) but I don't really think it was my thing. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!Last edited by Welsh_insomniac; 04-01-2012 at 11:54. -
Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentJust noticed you watched Exam, which i vaguely remember wanting to watch when it was released. Any good? Or should I not waste my time?

3rd movie of the year: Jackass 3D. I'd never seen any of the Jackass films before and it was alright I guess: some parts were pretty 'ew' though ha. -
Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentI really like it (I think this might be the third time I've seen it). The ending is a bit of a disappointment, but in terms of a directorial debut I think it's really well done, and there's certainly some interesting ideas in it. So yeah. I'd definitely say it's worth a watch.(Original post by LonelySoul193)

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentDon't want massive sigs tbh, plus not a good tracking tool.(Original post by Absinth)
I wonder if it would be easier to just put the books/films/music we have completed in our TSR signatures

Perhaps if we all went to the theatre there would be far less dispute. -
Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentThe 'exam' film with the 8 candidates trying out for a job at a company? Watched that a few weeks ago, really liked the premise and thought it was pretty unique, I hated White though until a certain point anyway (what an ass)(Original post by Phalanges)

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentYep. If you're into that kind of thing I recommend you try Fermat's Room next, if you haven't seen it already:(Original post by lukejoshjedi)

Re: How much culture can you fit in a year? A TSR experimentyeah I'm aware of that and have been trying to find it online (but failing), might just get it on DVD or something(Original post by Phalanges)
Yep. If you're into that kind of thing I recommend you try Fermat's Room next, if you haven't seen it already:
In the same sort of genre, have you seen Timecrimes? Spanish film about time travel and confusing things that happens if you do, bit of a mess with your mind film but pretty good -
