Yeah it's pretty annoying when you just can't think of the word in the kurdish and there is this awkward silence haha

I'm studying Medicine atm, what do you plan on doing after A levels?
    (Original post by Medicina)
    Haha yeah

    Nice Medicine too

A lot of Kurds are doing Medicine nowadays which is good obviously I guess it's all the family pressure

Wish I was scientifically intelligent guess I gotta stick with ICT...

Where are you both applying/studying at?

Actually, my dad isn't so keen on Medicine. He believes it's far too much pressure on me but I just loved work experience!

Aha, everyone back home thinks I'm doing humanity/law

I've applied to Manchester - had a interview but it was horrible, so defiantly not going to get in

Liverpool and Bradford (Foundation in Clinical science/Medicine)

I've not heard anything back yet though

Are you applying to university this year?

When was the last time you guys went back? Also, can you guys read/write in kurdish?

Na, all kurds are friendly and to demonstrate that have some rep
I tend to go back for several months every 3 years or so....

can't read or write at all

can speak perfectly though (even if some people do say I sound iranian for some reason)

Aww, you'll survive! Just have faith

5 more? Haha, you have around 8+ more years of studying before specializing in what you want
