Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Thanks Take Two!(Original post by TakeTwo)
I took the bait and emailed Christopher Drew - he has just replied stating there were too many applications to reply to on one day - don't panic! -
Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Yeah, the letter they emailed said they were overwhelmed by applications. I *almost* felt sorry for them...(Original post by TakeTwo)

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Just to confirm, did anybody hear either way from Farringdon in the end - just so that I can ross it off the table!(Original post by _EternalOptimist_)
I've not heard from farringdon either - and after re-reading my cv have given up all hope!
Thanks -
Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012I've decided not to apply till next year so that's 12 less you'll be pleased to hear!(Original post by PuppHunter)
All twelve PP applications submitted yesterday. Over 5000 applications on the system now - and apparently the vast majority are submitted in the last few days. I wouldn't be surprised if there were over 10,000 this year. -
Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Well done! It's always a good idea to get them in before the final rush. Very best of luck to you.(Original post by PuppHunter)

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012May I ask what influenced your decision not to apply? What stage of your education are you at? My own view is that, once you are eligible to do so, it is always a good idea to make the OLPAS run - whether for testing the water or even getting the experience!(Original post by Neo)

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012^ agreed. Plus, playing the OLPAS game is like gaining membership to a little (not so little) club of worried people. It is a great conversation starter:(Original post by Kessler`)

"Anything from OLPAS?"
"No" -
Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Remember, thats 10,000 divided by 12 (assuming everyone made 12). So not too hideous..... ahem(Original post by PuppHunter)

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012
is anyone else finding that when they print their OLPAS forms, lines have been cut out of answers? (particularly in the Work Experience section). this system is such a joke, as if we need the added stress of tech errors on top of everything else.

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012Ok, Chambers will see the PDF version so crisis averted.(Original post by third time lucky)

Re: The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2012I'll take this as support for my view that the online system is rubbish and merely makes the horrendous experience of looking for pupillage that bit more horrendous!(Original post by Wildman)
But, if last year is anything to go by, Chambers' pdf version may not contain the answers to the pupillage questionnaire section.
