bf3 is very nice to look at and the gameplay is a lot more like RL I think.

BF3 has better graphics. The ability to drive vehicles clinches it for me multiplayer-wise.

Mw3 has a fun element to it which surpasses that of BF3.

I personally think you cannot compare these games, they are totally different play styles.

Battlefield 3 has large maps with long fights which can last thirty minutes or longer, they try to idolize on teamwork and allow you to use vehicles, Battlefield is designed for a person who wants to kick back with a bunch of mates and have fun.

Where as Call of duty: Modern Warfare 3 has very small maps with short games so you can have as much action as you can, you are also designed to be a one man army unlike Battlefield 3 where you won't be as successful, so they try to shove as much action in such a small little time window.


So, I personally believe you cannot compare these two games and they both Idolize on different things, yes sure Battlefield 3 has a better engine and Call of Duty has a better storyline, but it will be unjust to say one is better than the other.

I prefer Call of Duty. The games are quick and fun ... However, I dont see the point in asking this question. Why not make up your own mind? Most people are going to Bf3....

How can you compare them. Totally different.

Call of duty still uses the quake engine. Battlefield 3 uses a new engine Frostbite 2.

Call of duty finished at Call of duty 4. After 4 they are all ****. Call of duty is just a console game for kids to play now.

Get a PC and Battlefield 3 if you want some real FPS gaming

I used to LOVE Call Of Duty and purchased every game and became top prestige. But after Black Ops and the massive let down of that game i ventured onto other games i never played before such as Battlefield 3 and Halo:Reach. Since then i haven't looked back i love battlefield 3 and the open space warfare that comes with it, the graphics are amazing and the multiplayer is brilliant.

But being such a massive fan of the Call of Duty franchise i purchased MW3 and that was the biggest mistake ever. The game didn't do it for me, it was a shadow of its former self with its repetitive multiplayer action.

My opinion: Battlefield 3
