SAVE CHIPS AND KETCHUP. Come on, now, Betheroo. Chips and Gravy? You might as well have mash and gravy, the point in chips is that they're fried (ie, crispy - unless from a chippy, but those are a special case) - but dousing chips in gravy makes them into MOOSH!
SLAY OR SAVE:
DAIRY MILK
or
MILKY BAR? -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!
I'm guessing that's or, so broccoli to be saved! Because you can have broccoli and cheese (like cauliflower cheese) but broccoli you can eat by itself too, whereas I find cauliflower a tad bland by itself and broccoli is good with a sprinkle of salt!
SAVE OR SLAY:
Carrots
or
Babycorn? -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!
Save salt, I can live without pepper on things, though its nice, it's not essential. But salt is needed on chips. It just is, and a nice sprinkle of salt on veg etc is always a good edition. SAVE MA SALT. Plus, when it snows, what would we English do without rushing out and panic bulk buying bags of the stuff? It's practically a tradition!

SAVE OR SLAY:
Banoffee Pie
OR
Trifle?
-
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!
Save the trifle.
I hear the maddened screams of TSR declaring me wrong, of course, but think about it. Trifle is genuinely unique. It is a combo of pudding elements quintessentially british and even puddings the world-over that use the "layering" technique still do not mimic the heart and soul of the trifle.
Slay or save:
Tinned Peas
Or
Frozen Peas? -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!Save frozen peas! I really rate them. They're frozen instantly which just keeps them fresh. I think they're just as good as fresh peas, and you don't have to worry about using them in time with a date. And what else would I put on my mouth if i've cut my lip?!(Original post by TotoMimo)

Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!
SAVE FUDGE!!
It's apparently "just enough to give my kids a treat". As I have no kids, I eat the multipack. That's just enough for me.
Milky Way just isn't as good since they changed the inner nougat from brown to white back in the 90s... thankfully, the "old style" Milky Way lives on as the "Flyte", or if I'm feeling like I want to eat a GIGA MILKY WAY, I dive into Mr Simms and nab a Three Musketeers Bar (also uses the old style brown nougat).
SLAY OR SAVE:
MALTESERS
or
MINSTRELS? -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!Fixed! So sorry TM(Original post by TotoMimo)
HOI! You missed mine!!
Sauce with hotdog. I think i could have a burger without sauce.... but hotdogs without ketchup and mustard are just upsetting.
Save or slay:
Roast dinner without gravy
OR
KFC without gravy -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!Southern fried chicken! Easy! I stay away from donna kebabs, since my cousin found part of a tooth in one!(Original post by Fusion)
Slay KFC with gravy. Easy choice since I've never had their gravy.
SAVE OR SLAY
Southern fried chicken
OR
Kebabs
Tacos or Fajitas? -
Re: Food and Drink: Slay This, Save This!
Save the tacos, but it was a toughie. Though I do love a good fajita, I guess I can live without, given enchiladas exist. tacos dont really have a replacement other than nachos and they arent the same really.
SAVE OR SLAY:
CHEESE ON NACHOS
OR
CHEESE ON PIZZA?
