Found a nearby gym with free weights :yy:

Slightly concerned that he emphasized that they have a smith machine and EZ bars... but that doesn't mean they don't have straight bars/ squat rack. Will see when I pop in on Saturday :yep: Fingers crossed.

Went to the toilet just in my boxers and I looked great in the mirror. My shoulders may actually be improving, if they become decent and lose a couple of % in bodyfat that is my upper body sorted.

Just my left calf then, but it is getting stronger. Still a right off for this summer and will look like a bicep boy in shorts.

just go very heavy on squats etc, get buldging quads/hammies, then strut around in speedos/short-shorts everywhere

Zumba wasn't as good as I thought it would be but in gymnastics I did ten minutes of hula hooping and now my diaphragm is killing me.

My quads are crap as well at the moment, but my front squats seem better now technically so hoping for big gains over the next few months plus I'm going to start nailing lunges and leg curls. Short shorts are happening whatever.

My quads are massive. 24inches before starting. Now they're leaner but pretty sure they're bigger/the same size. This is good, but means I'll probably never wear skinny jeans again :emo:

Not sure the size of my quads, they're probably not even 24'' and I'm 6ft...if they are that or over it will be down to my hamstrings

My quads are i think 26 or 27 when i measured them but sure a lot of that must be fat. They're reasonably defined on the outside but intra muscular fat etc should mean that i can lose some fat and fit into my normal jeans again.

Also, half the reason for my cut is i have expensive Kevlar lined motorbike jeans that are 30" waist and i was getting too fat for them.

Measured mine and they are 23''...I got pretty crap legs really, I expect good growth from them over the next 4 months. They haven't got noticeable fat on them, but not ripped either. Hopefully get to 25'' by the summer.

Forgot to bring lunch to work and I'm starving. Wondering how detrimental it'd be if I ate a mince pie... I shouldn't really though as I'm nipping out in less than half an hour to get something decent. Must refrain :pinch:

I keep making excuses 'If only I lived nearer the gym, next year when I do I'll go' and 'I don't have the money for running shoes yet (buying them next week). Gah. I am truly terrible at this.
I do the same about running shoes.. I want to start running but have no appropriate shoes, and can't afford them at the moment! So that's my excuse as well ha ha.

Blah, woke up too late this morning so I can't do my half an hour of skipping/exercise videos as planned (I literally have no time and shouldn't even be on the computer!)... before quarter past 3 I have to:
    - Tidy my room
    - Shower
    - Do all my washing up (about 12 bowls, plates, mugs)
    - Read two chapters and make notes on them

Which is why I was planning to get up at 9am :sigh:

I hurt my back again today...my technique was shocking through the warm-ups on deadlifts..whacked on 185kg for a x5...and my back was hurting too much after the 4th rep and they was going up fast as well. Hopefully it won't be too bad and I will train sunday. Got to see how the rest of the day goes, I'm going to try and keep walking round a lot and hopefully it won't seize up. This also meant I couldn't do front squats again!

I think I'm going to start doing deadlift as heavy week, then speed week, then heavy and so on. It's messing up too much of the rest of my training. Looks like I will 220kg by the start of March now rather than February.

    I was 75.7...

I swear like a month or two ago i was lighter than you...

Ahh well, i will get there. My aim is to "get less fat" whilst lifts go up. It won't be easy but it can be done.

I'll be happy at low 70s tbh. Well, depends what i look like in the mirro obviously but i think it will be around low 70s.
