Mixed signals

I'm just after a wee bit of advice here.

There's this lass who I really like and when we're together it's just great. Laughing, joking, hugging etc. So far, so good. However, when we're apart I hear nothing from her. She never texts, calls and rarely answers her facebook. Yet when we meet up, its back to playing around together. Its really messing with my head.

I thought maybe its a cultural difference. I'm British and she's Italian, so I'm not sure if thats in any way the problem. It doesn't help I'm supposed to be living in a shared house with her next year.

Sometimes, girls wait for the first big move. When you aren't together, text/fb first, she might just be playing coy hoping you'll do it. Or thinking, you're only for fun since you don't initiate anything when you aren't together.

Or, she just enjoys the attention when you're together and doesn't really care much when you're apart.

We don't know. We are the internet.
