Thats weird, I swear the kingston website says film is Penrhyn. My brother does film studies at Kingston, but tbh i dnt know which campus hes at so ur probably right

I got 2 conditionals from Kingston for
Creative writing and television and new broadcasting media BBC (atleast D in drama<- not sure how that works? im doing 4 which may have something to do with it ?)
and Drama and Film BBC (B in drama)

anyone else been accepted to those 2????

Got an unconditional for pharmacy. I've never visited Kingston before, however many people have told me that it's a bad university for some reason Is this true or is it just talk?

Well from what i know, of the lower grade unis in london (if you think of places like UCL as the higher ones) its really good. but i t depends what youre doing. my brother applied for computer science and it was meant to be good for that and ive applied for drama and stuff and ive heard its good for that. with unis that offer Bs and Cs i find people tend to become quite snobby about it so i wouldnt worry. if you take a balanced view of who is giving you the information you should be able to make an informed decision about whether or not to go.
from what i hear its a good uni with a really welcoming campus but avoid the brand new accomodation (but like you ive only been told this) x

I was offered a place at the end of the interview as well I'm actually surprised you think the campus was nice lol...I was actually disappointed. I'm studying media production at south thames college and it's a lot more up to date than Kingston. I have also seen Middlesex uni and that is LUSH!!! They have 2 tv studios, newer equipment, brand new building, probably 2 or 3 times as many computers etc etc... i want to see Kingston again though...don't want to be too judgemental, I want to see it again to make sure of my decisions.

They asked me what my style of filming is...what do I see myself doing in 5 yrs time...whether filmmakers have a degree of responsibility about what is portrayed in films they produce...If i was to make a documentary, what would my subject be? how would I film it? what's my view on the world...although I can talk ALOT about something I'm passionate about so the conversation got deep on film and it's affect on the world hahaha

I'm currently in my first year doing Media and Cultural Studies....have to say your first year modules for next year look much better than the ones we're doing at the moment!

well done i only got an unconditional because i have took my a levels already, so because i already had higher than the grades they require for the course, they gave me an unconditional X
