I went to one last year on my own, I just sat down with the nearest friendly looking people, introduced myself, got chatting and then discovered they were from the neighbouring school. On your own is deffo fine

I went to one last year (English and History). The lectures were fascinating and well delivered, the other people were interesting and up for talking so it was all good and worth it.

I went on my own. Most people seemed to do that. Talked to some pretty cool people actually.
