Re: The 2012 STEP Prep Thread!Tends to be one or two days before results.(Original post by Ree69)
Does anyone know when the STEP grade boundaries will be released? -
Re: The 2012 STEP Prep Thread!Yes and yes. (assuming by midnight, you're referring to early morning on the 16th)(Original post by CEFisher)
Do we get the step results at midnight on the 16th? And do our schools receive them as well or is it only online? -
Re: The 2012 STEP Prep Thread!Whether it'll be the same this year remains to be seen but usually, the exams officer will have online access to them on results day - presumably at the same time that they become available to you but I'm not sure how it works internally.(Original post by CEFisher)
Ah ok thanks. So does our school get them with all the A level results? I was just curious as I thought they'd got rid of the paper certificates for step and it was just online now... Thanks for the help

Re: The 2012 STEP Prep Thread!Yes, it will be on the STEP home page entitled "STEP 2012 Explanation of Results" or something to that effect.(Original post by zuzia.kru)
We're gonna know the grade boundries before? Where will it be, on the official site? -
Re: The 2012 STEP Prep Thread! If they are part of your offer then the universities normally get them. You could always check by phoning on results day to see if they have received them, but in most if not all circumstances the universities get them.(Original post by Nelly 24)
Do STEP results go direct to UCAS or does one have to notify universities of their STEP results if it forms part of their offer? -
Cambridge mark them so they know first. They will sen them to other universities ( possibly indirectly). You dont new to tell anyone anything(Original post by Nelly 24)

I'm not sure if anyone directly connected to the university marks them. It's Cambridge Assessment, the parent company of OCR, who set and mark the exams.(Original post by TheMagicMan)

By the way, am I right in thinking that we should start registering with the online results service on Monday (tomorrow)? -
I've been told by a number of people that the dons mark them...(Original post by Edwin Okli)

Oh… *blushes*… that's quite cool. Gosh, I don't know what you would make of mine. They'll probably say, "good thing we didn't give him an offer."(Original post by TheMagicMan)

And Siklos said it's 3rd, 4th year and PhD Cambridge mathmos that do most of the marking. -
It says "Please make sure you register no earlier than 10 days before the advertised results release date." But I can't think why.(Original post by hassi94)

I dont want to be thinking about my results whilst getting attack dogs, scoring bangers, making p and shottin on road
