Ok now you have just given me a new, new worry...i never actually thought about that....cyclist danger is very real hehe

Yea i think they can make it to a 4th season, the whole world cant be infected there must be areas that no one could get to or that hardly anyone lives in. I personally will never get bored of the zombies walking around trying to eat ppl, it's too exciting.

Ahh, do you listen to russian rap to?? my fav artist has to be Seryoga '2 Kaiser' cuz of the way his music sounds so groungy, his boice is sooo deep, but i also like barbecue.
Yes, in Amsterdam it happened quite a few times :P. Although not with the old dude slowly cycling in the red light district...which I was in by accident btw! Turned a corner from this building and then there was a girl in a window didn't realise until I was like 3 windows down haha...it was right opposite a church too.

I hope that if they do have more seasons they will at least have original content and that it won't all be about making money...did you hear about the guy in Miami who got his face eaten by this other guy who was naked in broad day light??

Nope never heard of any Russian rap music but I was interested in listening to some.

Heheee you were in the red light district by accident eh? well so was i, i got lost there I was really surprised when i saw women in the windows, getting lost in that area is not fun...creey weirdos come up to you, for a 'chat'

Yea me too, i knida have a feeling that is what happened with Heroes; the first season was the best, the second ok and the third...eh not the best.
Yea i did, wait was they guy that got his face eaten naked or was the guy that was doing the face eating naked?? It's soo creepy that ppl do these things in real-life

    Imma go, i gotta sleep
    Goodnight

Is this thread for people who are doing ASs now, and possibly going in 2013?

Yep, think I must have going through the end of the red light district because there were very few windows and it didn't last long at all (the distance of windows :P ). What did you say to them?? 'No time to chat I have to see a woman about a bone?'

Pretty sure the guy that was face eating was naked because they tried to blame it on some dodgy cocaine that makes your body feel like its over heating so he took his clothes off to try to cool down. I don't think it was drug related though. The guy did use cannabis but weed doesn't do that to you and also the guy had a history of violence including threatening to shoot his mother.

    Goodnight Pineapple.

Don't have any... yet... I'm still occupied by C3 and 4 and haven't done nearly enough research.

Main thing is, are you at all worried about spending so long in a completely different country? but that's probably already been answered and I'll go through the thread in the morning.

Relating to the last topic, I went to Amsterdam with me school, at the end of year 10. Due to a genuine accident, we found ourselves in the red light district, but just on the outskirts, not too intensive :O
One of the people I was with tried to go into a shop, god knows why at that age! got sent straight out, we all laughed.
And that, everyone, is my Amsterdam experience!

C4 is such a ball ache, it's my last exam... Can't wait to get it over with!

I'm not going to mind it too much as I've always wanted to get abroad but the way I look at it... It's no different to going to going to uni in scotland travel time wise, so you could get back easily if you needed to... Plus they all speak English (Y)

You don't "need" it I don't think but it's a very mathsy degree. Don't quote me on it though

It would definitely help. You might get accepted not having a very high level of maths but then you might not cope once you're there. I know Amsterdam get you to do a maths test during the application process.

Out of Utrecht and Maastricht, which has the better international reputation, I'm interested in doing an Economics (Or Econometrics at Maas) with hopes of becoming an investment banker in the future which is why the reputation of the university matters.

Ya, my experience didn't last long either, but i guess it didn't help that it was dark when we went through there :/. Hehe, what did i say to them....well i don't know why they were speaking in english to me so im not sure if they heard me speaking or something...but i pretended not to speak englsih and they kinda gave up and went away...but then as i was walking away i was like 'oh god im sooo hungry'. Probably not the best idea

Ah i googled it and they were both naked, they shot the guy dead who was doing the face eating business, it's a super weird story....do you know if the victim guy survived??

ohhh i've got a geography exam on tuesday...and still gots stuffs to memorise

Yea im super excited, if i was staying here i would just be dreading the huge exams at the end of the year, thank god Maastricht's science course exams are modular!

Haha I'm glad, hey that's mean!

I can't wait to spend a weekend there aha

What kind of OV card are you gonna get, i was thinking about it the other day, if you get one that can only be used on weekdays then you can't use it on weekends and the same goes for if you get one for weekends it can't be used on weekdays. I think imma go for the weekend one cuz im sure it must count on bank holidays and general holidays right? i mean if it only counts for 2 days maybe it has special but hidden advantages?

Oh s*** I hadn't even considered no UK channels , I don't even watch that much but I would like the choice ...although I think you can get BBC in the Netherlands (not that it'll make much difference). I'll just have to wait for the boxsets of Dexter & Mad Men to be released .

That's something I've been struggling to decide, you assume that you will travel more during the week but then the weekends are free time to do whatever we like & go places ...yet more decisions . Does it last for 12 months?

Yeah the red light district isn't somewhere I would like to go in the dark :P. Oh I thought it was just the eater. Definitely weird...I think the victim survived but I'm not sure. Can't remember if the eater is still alive I think they shot him...

I still don't have my accommodation either. Can't really find anything I actually like haha also because I don't really want to pay for rent that is going to go to waste by me not actually being there so I'm putting it off for a bit.

For the OV card are you guys meaning transport for within Maastricht and getting to Uni or for outings out of Maastricht?
