Definitely yes. People here are more interest in the Roman and Islamic periods.
What are you studying in History? Shame I've already finished school - my history classes were really good.
    Ahh cool.
Umm the Cold War and British Imperial Africa at the moment. Last year we did Poverty and Public Health in Victorian Britain (snore-fest) and the Russian Revolution.

What are you applying for anyways?
    Oh, Human Sciences yourself?

Ignore that, I remember you said you're for astrophysics! That's sounds great.

Think I'm going for self-catered, though I did for a while toy with the idea of going in halls. But I'm going to have learn how to cook someday ha. Yourself?

I've also study some of those topics: mainly the Cold War and the Russian Revolution. Good ones but not exactly my favourites.

I am going for self-catering too, although one of the reasons is that I love cooking.
However I will still have to learn to cook more dishes as, currently, my knowledge is limited.

Oh that's cool I'm applying for accommodation as we speak. I did quite a bit of research into the student houses, but still finding it difficult to decide which preferences to put down to get the places I'd prefer.

I was looking to set my max. price at 150, which'd save a lot of money but of course leaves me with all the lack of proximity (except Astor college, which'd be perfect). Still, difficult!

Pretty content that I have all my offers/rejections.

Always wanted UCL as a an insurance and its a pretty darn good university.

SO... Anyone else with (Chemistry) offers out there ?
I've got a Chemistry offer for UCL! Also got one for Imperial but I declined it, absolutely hated the uni but adored UCL so it doesn't really matter to me that Imperial has more prestige and is supposedly better for Chemistry.

I've actually applied for deferred entry though, so guess this is a pointless answer...

Well I got an e-mail saying that I can't be considered for straight Psychology as there's too many applicants, however they still liked my application. They asked me to fill out a questionnaire for Psychology & Language Science (which I did) and am just awaiting to hear back now. Although, I am feeling drawn more and more towards St Andrews now so I might not even go for UCL if they give me an offer for Psych & Lang Sci.

UCL or LSE as my insurance for maths? I'm leaning towards UCL because I'd like to be able to do physics/comp sci modules which I can't do at LSE.

I got an offer for HumSci too And I'm thinking of firming that offer ... but I want to visit UCL and get to know the relevant campus, its facilitis, accommodation services etc. before making a decision, as I also like the idea of studying in Edinburgh ...
Does anyone her attend an Open Day soon? When are the post-offer Open Days?

I haven't received my official offer letter yet, just a mail with the conditional offer and no further information ...
