if yu applied to plymouth they usually reply in about 2weeks time
so i suggest you wait til friday ...if nothing happens , call them.
but i guess time is precious .

Phone the university and ask for advice etc saying" i applied for extra" bla bla
they will either tell you to just wait
or they will let you know immediately ...but i never went through extra so i dont know

Thanks mate, I'll give them a call friday if theres no change :yy:

Found another illustrator at last! How was your interview? I've set it as my firm, too. I might start a facebook page for 2012 Illustration people, you met/spoken to any others?

Is anyone going to try and get into halls?
It seems like everyone is going into this discovery place but i thought halls were the place to be for students? Plus halls are much cheaper!

Discovery heights are halls. All Halls are priced at different rates, so it depends on what you want in your room, en suites are more expensive for example.

If you go onto the uni website you can see all the different halls and some photos of the halls (excluding the kitchen) which also has the current price ranges that us freshers 2011 are paying.

Hope this helps

Yeah, my interview was lovely and relaxed - my other interview at Huddersfield was terrifying, the guy was so grumpy, so Plymouth felt even nicer by comparison.

Discovery heights is owned by Unite halls. You have uni halls - Pilgrim, Radnor, Gillwell, Robbins, Mary Newman and Francis drake and Unite halls (which you can apply for through the uni) - St Thomas, St Theresa, Alexandra Works etc.

No worries, you can choose any option really, hope all goes well for you
