Do you know how good plymouth is actually suppose to be for engineering??

Well clearly it's not one of the top uni's but it's definately alot better than uni's that require similar grades. I had offers from Leicester,sussex, oxford brookes, exeter and plymouth and went for plymouth because the facilities were so up to date and it just seemed like somewhere I would enjoy. You might have amazing teachers but if your are bored out of your mind then your not going to do well. I would say go have a look around.

although the official freshers week starts on 17th, the week before is basically another freshers week as the have as much on.

Okay, my term starts on 17th so was wondering if it would be the week before. I'll be a medical student, don't know if this makes a difference as i heard they have their own freshers things?
