Is 5 A Levels worth it?

    I took six and it was ok
    Id say do it, especially considering most top uni's count Maths and further Maths as one A level meaning you would HAVE To carry on your other two to A2 and what if you don't like one of them? At least by taking history you have a choice of what ones to carry on

    I would say do four and hit your best in them. It will look better if you have 4 As than 5 Bs. Not saying that you wont get 5 As. Its a matter of instinct.. You can try it for like a day or two, then colleges normally allow you to drop a subject.

    I don't think it is the case that "most top unis" accept maths and further maths as one A level. All 5 of my offers were for Physics, Maths and Further Maths as the 3 subjects.
