TSR Christian Soc Bible StudyThis thread is for serious discussion of the Bible. This is not a place for discussions and debate about Christianity and whether it is right or wrong. You do not need to be part of the Christian Soc to take part, but open to learning about the Bible and taking this seriously.
You can find the Christian Soc here
Weekly (although when I'm busy it may be fortnightly) I will post up questions (probably on a Monday/Tuesday) then everyone can post their responses to the questions. Ideally on Saturday (when we all have a bit of extra time) we will spend a bit of time discussing our responses and talking together about how we've found the study and what we've learnt as well as prayer requests which have been raised from the study. Obviously over time this format change slightly as we adapt and find what works best for us as a group but that is the general plan!
The Plan of Study
- Psalms
- Hebrews
- Zechariah
- Colossians
Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Re: TSR Christian Soc Bible StudyI hope everyone thinks the study plan is good, seems like there was a split between wanting to study OT and NT, so thought should do a bit of both

I saw the plan and loved it. A bit of everything(Original post by greeneyedgirl)
It also has a very logical progression:
Psalm - expands our souls
Hebrews - shows us importance of Jesus
Zechariah - helps us when we're struggling in faith
Colossians - builds us up to be confident Christians
You can see you've put a lot of work into it already. Thanks SO MUCH!

Hola, and gracias Emily!
[Translation: Hello and Thank you... just in case

She does get quite touchy over lack of translations.

Looks Good. Great Idea.
