I sent off my application on November 25th. I've had replies from Kingston and Keele both giving me an offer for Law LLB. I'm getting worried about Brookes I would prefer it to Kingston.......

I received an unconditional for LLB Law for Keele and Oxford Brookes.
Have you visited them at all? If so, what did you prefer and why?

Keele is my local university at home. For law though one of my close friends studies there at absolutely loves it. he is in his second year now. I can answer any questions you have about the surrounding areas of Keele as i have lived there for 18 years

For brookes law I know a couple of student who love it also. It comes down to preference of yourself. I would suggest visiting both and get a good feel for it.

I am planning to visit both, to see where it feels more 'homely', so I dont hate my time being there lol.

In your view, what do you think has the better reputation for a law school?
Better job prospects and that 'malarky'?

Really? When did you apply?? I'm not too worried, as like I said I have offers from Keele and Kingston. I have to go to City on the 2nd to do some sort of legal aptitude test (they havent called it an LNAT, nor can I find any info on the internet/website

I haven't visited either of them....actually that's a lie I went to sit in a Law lecture last year at Brooke's but that's all. Still waiting on Warwick too, but not hopeful to be hoenst lol

I wanted to apply to Warwick but i wasn't confident enough too.. regret it now though! what was it like in brookes? whenever i read stuff about it makes me really want to go, but i'm worried about choosing between keele and OB. i dont know whats better for Law lol!!

See that's precisely what irritates me like you applied one day before me and what I'm waiting on an extra month minimum for a reply. Surely they'd know whether to accept/reject me by now.

Or does anyone know whether they take a dimmer view of people doing Access to HE?
As a lecture it was interesting, obviously the uni is quite modern, I was only at one campus mind you

Hiya, are you starting your course this year? I'm a third year law student at Brookes and I have all of my first year textbooks still. I paid well over £200 for all of my books, I'm just wondering if you would be interested in buying second hand for a cheaper rate?
