    AS OCR Sociology G671 2012
    Hey

Did anyone else take the AS OCR Sociology G671 paper yesterday? If so what did you think of it? I found it okay but not great. My mind went blank on the third question about the media and age identities so I reckon I'll be retaking it in May :/

Yeah I know what you mean, but I think the main essay question went well.

    Thank you, you too

I actually thought I did the worst on Q1! I defined Values okay I suppose, but my examples were absoloutely appauling! 2 and 3 I think went fine, think I left out some key points in Q4 though! Hopefully I passed either way

Really? Oh well at least that question is worth the least amount of marks.
I thought question four went quite well but could have wrote more if I'd had more time. Yeah I'm sure you did fine anyway So what topic are you studying next?

Yeah thankfully it was only worth 8 marks! So it wouldn't have made a noticeable difference...

Yeah question four went ok for me too, I managed to get down all the main points for V.R.R.G at least anyway! We shall all see in March I suppose!

    We're doing the Family, you?

I'm also re-taking, I got a C (1 mark off a B). I'm going in for a revision session of the pre-release this week during the Easter holiday, but so far I'm not confident with the pre-release so far >_<

    Hey,

Really sorry I've only just seen your post! I've not really sure how to structure either question sorry :/

I have a definition of socialisation though - Socialisation is the process of learning the correct behaviour, norms and values of a society. It can either be primary or secondary.

Hope this helps! Good luck for the exam on Thursday

    Megan
