HeHe I'm not British,don't speak English,not teenager,don't like JB at all,not really into many artist (I love their muic although) But I love them!
Why? Because they bring me happiness.They always bring a smile on my face everytime I saw them since they appeared on the X factor show.
Their music videos "What makes you beautiful"and "one thing" got quite a good reaction on a popular Chinese music video website.People thought they are refreshing,much better than the Kpop groups.There are quite a few comments below the one thing video saying the video make the world look wonderful and the life look beautiful.....Yeah they really can bring people happy and warm feelings..BTW they reminded someone of the Westlife and Backstreet boys...you know the two boybands are well known among Young Chinese.
Their music isn't bad at all！The ones who say their music is **** are definitely deaf（well if they really have listend to them)Their music maybe not massive,but still not bad！
To people who say they cant sing should take a look at their tour videos.Very very good.I'm a little bit harsh on their live performances.But I found them improved compare their lives showed on TV before.They obviously haven't show everything to the TV audience.I hope I were in their concert cos their singing was exciting and impressive from what I watched on YouTube.They are not amazing vocals,but saying they can't sing or can't hold a tune is ridiculous.
I have to say I found many mature 1D fans become more confident too with the boys' improvement and commercial success.
Haters look stupid now .They always say the same thing...Er...Be more creative please!

I have their calender too. I got it for £2.99 on amazon! All my friends think it's a bit wierd that I am 20 and love one direction. but sometimes it's nice to listen to happy cheerful music. From what I've heard, the boys are releasing 'What Makes You Beautiful' as their first single in the USA on February 14th (predictable day lol), and it's expected to make the top ten in the USA Billboard Hot 100 charts, being the first UK Boyband to do that since Take That released 'Back For Good' over their in the mid 1990s. They're already in the top 10 on the Billboard social charts alongside; Bruno Mars, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Pitbull, David Guetta, Shakira, Justin Bieber and Adele. I think that this band has it in them to become the biggest British band since the Spice Girls (on a global scale).

Yeah I heard Spice Girls when I was younger even though I didn't really know who they are and where they come from...then I knew David Beckham hehe...
Every 1D member have distinct personally just like the Spice Girls did and the fact is they already have a global fanbase.
They may not have success as big as Spice Girls,but they will be doing quite well as a global boyband.Not a easy thing we know When it comes to a BOYBAND going global.

I didn't know this. I thought they were releasing gotta be you as their first single in America. I hope they do well. It's hard to predict which British artists will have success in the US. Florence and the machine, Mumford and Sons, Adele and Susan Boyle have consistently done well there in recent times. Jls and Girls Aloud have tried and failed and they've had huge success in the UK. The wanted are also trying to crack America.

When did Girls Aloud try in the US? As far as I was aware it was only Cheryl with her 2 duets with Will.i.am (1 featuring Nicki Minaj) and her upcoming one with Rihanna (I know Rihanna isn't American, but I'll presume the duet will be released there). I was sure that some of their songs were given to US radio stations and got some airplay in the US. Maybe I've got it wrong. Will.i.am recorded two versions of 'check it out' - the one with cheryl in it was only released in the UK. The version without her vocals was released in the US. I wonder whether Cheryl will be able to crack America. Against all the odds her solo music has done pretty well here. So why not? But then again that was when she was at the height of her fame and she doesn't have that anymore.
