C1 Jan 2012 Edexcel - Post exam discussion - Solutions and paper in first post

On my paper it says first mark 41, for c1 what does this mean, and for d1 it says 56 for first mark. what does that mean>????

i don't actually get this myself, but my teacher was saying it's in ums marks so not in raw marks.

Aww guys anyone who retakes, I do think it's much easier the second time round.
I retook and got 99/100

If you think you can improve in your retake I recommend going for it, but it might be worth focussing on C2 and S1/M1 if you just missed the grade you wanted to get by a few marks

I got an A!! 89 UMS marks so i guess about 67/75 raw

definitely a retake for me cos i know i can achieve a very good grade for maths.
