    So, how did everybody do?
Just scraped an A* (90/100). I thought the marking was pretty harsh but still pleased enough.

I would just prefer to resit it, as if they remark it, the mark could possibly go down.

    Cognitive Development:
    1. A question on what experimental design was used in Piaget's conservation study (2 marks)
    2. Define conservation
    3. Define egocentrism (I think)
    4. 12 marker on how others in society can influence child's development

    Schizophrenia & Mood Disorders:
    1. Brieflly explain the psychodynamic theory of mood disorders (4 marks)
    2. The 12 marker had a statement like "Schizophrenics are best treated in institutions. This combined with drug therapy is the most effective treatment." Discuss this statement.

    I hope that helps!

Heyy guys, for those who want to know: All the essay questions for PsyB3 Jan 12 are as follows:

Social Development: Describe and evaluate Ainsworth's work on attachment. As part of your evaluation, you should refer to at least one other researcher.

Cognitive Development: Using your knowledge of psychology, discuss the view that other people play an important role in a child's cognitive development.

Moral development: Describe and evaluate two ways in which psychologists have investigated moral development. Refer to evidence in your answer.

Cognition and Law: Discuss the effects of post-event contamination on the reliability of eye-witness accounts. Refer to evidence in your answer.

Schiziophrenia and mood disorders: 'The most suitable treatment for schizophrenia is medication and this treatment should take place in an institution.' Discuss this view.

Stress and stress management: What is meant by locus of control and hardiness? Discuss the role of locus control and the role of hardiness in mediating responses to stress. Refer to evidence in your answer.

Substance abuse: Describe and evaluate the use of fear-arousing appeals to prevent substance abuse. As part of your evaluation, you should compare fear-arousing appeals with one other prevention technique.

Forensic psychology: Describe and evaluate anger management as a treatment for offending. Refer to evidence in your answer.

Hope that helps! Don't ask me how you answer them, because I don't know
