    Fancy Dress
Just to let you know that the Fancy Dress has now been confirmed so time to raid the charity shops and get those sewing kits out. We're going to be doing the following based on your requests:

    Pirates
Animals (10% discount off at kigs.co.uk when you use TSRCODE)

There's no need to spend a fortune on this, my advice would be to take things that could be used for more than one outfit and adapt them once you're out there, it will save space on luggage too. failing that it's amazing what you can do with a few bin liners and a ripped up t-shirt.

I'd like to say army caus I can steal my brother's RAF gear making it a very easy fancy dress

If that isn't preferred I've still got my Rubix cube outfit or I can buy Sean The Sheep haha

So we're just over 2 weeks from the booking deadline and 74 days until the coach leaves for Alpe d'Huez it's about time we got a poll up to decide the fancy dress themes for some nights and possibly some days one the slopes...
If you have an alternative to those in the poll post it up here and i'll get it included in the poll.

P.S. just got back from 3 Vallees and the snow was incredible, fingers crossed the snow clouds keep rolling in for us in March
I concur, the snow in VT was incredible, didn't snow at all when we were there, and was still lovely to ski on on the last day.

    WRT themes: charity shop challenge?
I would suggest German and arabs as we had on our trip, but might be a bit risqué for TSR.

Well, I'll be able to report on the snow conditions of the Italian alps after halfterm, 2 weeks out there to blow away the cobwebs will be lovely.

  You knew what I meant! They all wear camo gear so it'll look the same.

I'm part of a Forces family so I can get away with it

I hardly own any dressing up stuff so I don't really have any preference. Hmm I have plenty of ballet dresses though. Anyone?

Aha i've only ever owned one item of fancy dress xD
Only problem with the 'when you were 4' one, it'd mean i'd be required to wear just normal casual stuff XD

Why not just have anything goes, and see what people come up with?? ;D

Don't take it so literally There must be SOMETHING you wanted to be when you were 4 that would make for a good fancy dress??

You could just wear it anyway on the slopes. There was loads of random animal onesies being worn over the top of ski stuff when i was in Val T

    Re: Fancy Dress
good news for anyone championing animal fancy dress on the trip, we have a new sponsor in Kigs.co.uk who are giving all TSR users 10% discount on anything on their site including a wide range of Kigurumi's and animal hats.

On the trip I was on at the beggining of the year lots of people were wearing these on the coach, around the chalet and on the slopes because they're so comfortable and just look damn cool - if you want to look like a flying squirrel or red panda

If anyone wants to take advantage of this the code is: TSRCODE
