    Worried about application
Submitted my application rather early last year (Just before the first half term). 3 courses at Keele University, 1 for Staffs and 1 for Derby.

Had 2 conditional offers back from Keele, a conditional from Staffs and a rejection from Derby which I really am not fussed about.

However, I am still waiting on a reply for the 3rd course I applied for at Keele which was a Foundation year course. (Physical Geography with science foundation year).
After I had received 2 offers at the same time for the other 2 courses at Keele, I phoned the university up who confirmed the entry point I had submitted for the foundation course was wrong. (When I did my application, I just left the box blank, so on UCAS it just appeared as entry point 1, which at the time I thought was correct.) They were able to change it, and they also put me through to someone who could tell me when I am likely to have my application for that course looked at.

She said it would be after the 15th Jan deadline, which I was fine about. But it's now past that deadline by almost a week, and I phoned up to have that mistake changed around the start of December. Also what concerns me it, on UCAS track the course still has an entry point of 1, but I am unsure whether that gets changed or not. What is also odd, is I received an email from Keele on the 12th saying they had received my application and that it was being considered, but it wasn't specific to any courses. Unsure if they would have sent that email anyway, even if I hadn't of called up.

Some helpful advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    And yes, I know. :words:words:words:

They said "after January 15th" and in fairness it is only four days after. They've got until May 10th to make their decisions before UCAS sets it to unsuccessful on their behalf.

I don't think the university are able to change that themselves at this point, you would have to contact UCAS to change it. It shouldn't matter though, the university knows what the correct entry point should be, that's the important thing.

Probably automated, I wouldn't think anything of it.

The lady saying it would be after the 15th means it's most likely one of the courses where they look at almost no applicants before the deadline. That means they have just now started looking at all the applicants - getting through those would take some time, and very likely more than 4 days - probably several weeks. Don't worry about it until you hear from them - there is no point Good luck and hope you get the offer you want!

Also (edit): they can change the details on UCAS, however, they may well have changed your details on their internal file/system and will update UCAS all at once (ie. with the decision) - however, they can also just take a long time to get to update UCAS, St Andrews agreed to change a course detail for me in October and only did it in December - and I am yet to get a decision.
