I don't really know why people are questioning the legitimacy of these grade boundaries. They're from the frigging edexcel website!
Grade boundaries arent released until tomorow usually, and these grade boundaries seem inflated for many subjects. Ive talked to many y13's and further mathematicians, and they all say the boundaries are stupidly high. Physics unit 1 and 4 are also inflated for the difficulty of the papers.

    what's 61 marks out of 90 as a percentage? is it 67.7? (68%)?
you have the right percentage, so why ask? or do you not know how to use a calculator?

    Marlborough/Solsbury, but I won't be too worried if I don't get en-suite.

    I had 7. 6 maths, 1 physics.

I just hope they stick them in the reg trays and don't deliver them during reg
Had a quick look, woodland and solsbury look so nice!

    Whaaat, are you serious?
That is just stupid! Ignore himm, if you're pleased with your results then forget what everyone else thinks
Aha, he wastes about 50% of the lesson complaining how Chem1 is GCSE. So I doubt a poor performance will be tolerated.

I've always been good at Chemistry as well, managed to get full ums in GCSE, not that it counts for anything , so there's a fair amount of expectation as well.

Yep - 5 of them over 2 days in a row too

    C3, C4, M1, FP2, FP3 and PHYA4

Made up by the fact my only A2 exams in June are M2 and PHYA5. Though then I get another kick in the nuts in the form of STEP II and III.
Wow that is good, oh yea I forgot you had STEP, at least you can knuckle down, destroy it and then move into Emma

i heard that too. and last year my chem teacher knew our results on Wednesday during lessons. he told us he knew (not the results D:

but luckily i have a day off on Wednesday so will be hovering over the edexcel website waiting patiently for the grade boundaries to pop up.
My physics teacher said that he'll find out when we do and my maths teacher (who's also a deuputy headteacher) refused to tell us when she finds out lol

I think the edexcel grade boundaries are up. Its either that or their mark schemes for all the exams. Good luck for results anyway

Physics Unit 4 was RIDICULOUSLY difficult. Not one single person I spoke to in person or on TSR said they liked it and thought they'd done well. It had no maths in it! I'm really hoping these aren't the real boundaries, Biology Unit 4 is also stupidly high (8 more raw marks than usual) when nobody found that paper that great at all either...

Haha, why? I'm going to be staring at mine, looking for any signs of a grin/wink/frown/disgust.
Because my teacher is just going to make my lessons really awkward by dropping hints like that! high expectations and all that...

Why can't OCR release their grade boundaries at 00:01 like AQA? Or even better, like edexcel
