Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012I'm not from Northern Ireland but I am going to Durham(Original post by cjd2k)
Is anyone from Northern Ireland at Durham for anything?
Sorry I know you were asking for people from Northern Ireland but I'd like to know more people going!
What will you be doing?
-
Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012They're being sent out next week(Original post by EloiseStar)
Any one from Durham received their packs yet?
Have you thought about what your wearing for the dinner if you don't mind me asking, just I've bought a dress and want to know if it is suitable or not

I suppose I can forgive you for your lack of Northern Irish heritage. I don't think I'll find anyone. Though I am tempted to email all the email addresses that they left in the last email they sent us, but I don't really want to get hundreds of replies. -
Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012I'm doing bio at Nottingham too! I only just found this thread so my reply is kind of late haha, it sounds like its going to be a good week though :'D(Original post by IPlayThePiccolo)
Wahey I got in, anyone for biology at nottingham? -
Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012how formal is it? I've tried to find posts from last year but it has proved to be redundant. I don't want to be over dressed... do you have an online link to your dress?(Original post by RosieInWonderland)

Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012It's semi-formal but not over the top, but it's from H&M so it's not that formal, I'll take a picture of it and send you a link(Original post by EloiseStar)

Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012Now the only question is will I be able to pull off a bow tie? Probably not you know…(Original post by RosieInWonderland)
I don't think you'd have to wear a really formal suit, maybe just the trousers and a shirt and tie? -
Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012"Bow ties are cool"... I vote you wear one!(Original post by cjd2k)
Now the only question is will I be able to pull off a bow tie? Probably not you know…
(I'm at Durham for Archaeology, heritage and museums by the way!). I think I messaged you and a few others before on a different TSR account (which I forgot my email for
)

Re: Sutton Trust Summer School 2012Bow ties are cool, but I need to get a bow tie first. Perhaps I'll pick one up then. I have a pocket watch, so that's got to count for something?(Original post by feelinginfinite)
