Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012
Hello all,
I was planning on applying to this a while ago, however I have something getting in the way.
I have secured a two week work experience placement at my local HSBC retail bank, which starts from the second of July, and this clashes with the dates of this programme.
Would this two day insight at JP Morgan give my CV and me at a greater advantage than the work experience at HSBC.
Many thanks,
David -
Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Stick with HSBC, probably likely to learn a lot more about banking and it's for two weeks as well.(Original post by stackemup)

Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Going to J.P.Morgan is a hell of a lot more useful than sitting behind glass handling deposits from the public....(Original post by stackemup)

Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012mate... retail banking isn't exactly what you'd call 'banking'(Original post by Part A)
Stick with HSBC, probably likely to learn a lot more about banking and it's for two weeks as well. -
Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012I'm sure it shouldn't matter, this is for A-Level students after all. Students who have completed A-Levels are not allowed in the programme so only predicted grades are relevant.(Original post by Alpha5)
If you have accidentally wrote the wrong date for school in the cv, I am in serious trouble? I also forgot to put the word prediction near my a levels, although I did say EPQ (predicted -A), so they should get it right?.
I am destined for a rejection.
I have applied but with my poor predicted grades I am no doubt going to be rejected... -
Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Register with a new email(Original post by dellprinter)
just messed up!!
i applied to it, but forgot to write about why i wanted to do the programme in my cv, so i withdrew my application, now i cant reapply!!!
should i just register with a new email?, is this for year 12s? as i dont have predicted grades yet!! -
Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Considering the speed with which they seem to be replying, i don't they give that much of a ****...(Original post by Confused101)
How are they meant to verify our predicted results anyway? -
Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Was that sarcasm? Or have people been been actually getting replies quickly?(Original post by uxa595)

Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012Not sarcasm? The applications only opened a little while back and according to this thread, people have offers. I think it's just a simple yes/no answer after looking at your CV as there don't seem to be any interviews/tests.(Original post by jacky23)

Re: JP Morgan Schools Programme 2012I haven't heard of anyone getting an offer?...(Original post by uxa595)

"Thank you for applying to attend the Schools Programme - J.P. Morgan London .
Your place is now reserved and we look forward to meeting you at our event.
Kind regards,
The J.P.Morgan Recruiting Team"
