just wondering how the teams work for freshers. Is there a freshers team or does everyone just get put in thirds or something then move up? Also is there a preseason or anything? I have no idea how uni sports work so sorry if any of the questions seem a bit stupid!

You sign up at the sports fair in the first few weeks. You normally have to state a standard that you play to, (most people exaggerate a little), then there will be trials in the first few weeks.

If you are absolutely insane you may go into the first or seconds, but that rarely happens unless you really are quality. There isn't a freshers team as such, but a lot of the 3'rd or 4th teams, however many there are, will have a number of freshers in who can work their way up over the course of their degree.

    Quite simple really!
