    Grade boundy predictions, bearing in mind that the last exam was 26 for an A*... and this one was much harder than the last one?

    None of the questions actually seemed relevant - i was ready to right down a load of facts and draw genetic diagrams but they just seemed to want us to comment on experiments - it wasn't like any of the past papers i've done x

    Right guys.. Im thinking 28 for a star and 32 for 100 ums!!!! I hope we all get 100 ums although the exam was soooooooo soooooo difiicult
    i checked all the questions with my teacher and even he was confused about the a/b question.. he eventually said it is b. the enzymes question was 11.6- stays the same

    I put B for the reoson above ^ i think we might get the mark whether it be A or B but this paper was well and truely confusing and different from all the other papers so fingers crossed the grade boundries should be low!
    I put B too...but it was more of a last minute assumption.
    I really need the grade boundaries to me quite low - otherwise I'll never get my target grade.
    I spent the entire weekend revising everything as well o.o
    Sad times.

    Yeah, hopefully it's a two answers thing. It was horrible ): I was ready to talk about Mendel and draw Punnett squares, gah, stupid aqa! I hope they're low, the June 2011 paper was 26 for an A* so fingers crossed!
    I thought that paper - June 2011 was quite easy but the grade boundaries were low
    But now I thought this paper was hard, its probs gonna have really high grade boundaries.><

    I think the grade boundries will be these judging by the paper today:
    9 = D
    16 = C
    20 = B
    25 = A

    It would have been so much easier if it was all fact-base rather than retrieving information from ****ty data tables. ARRGH. I really hope the mark scheme's low.

    The papers wasn't particularly difficult, it was slightly above average imo.

    What made it annoying though, was the amount of experimental questions asked, and the very last question... When will AQA learn that the best way to piss people off is to include a 5 mark ethics questions.

    If any of you want to compare answers etc, feel free to quote me

    Damn. I put 2.1 for the enzyme question because the enzyme would have been denatured. The questions are designed to trick you!
