Do you guys know if the accommodation is first come first served basis? I want to apply soon, but QUB is my insurance choice so I don't know if I can apply?
You can still apply, and if you don't get in to your firm and have applied then i think you are still guaranteed accommodation... it just might not be in your first choice place

Hey, from england it came up when i applied  just try typing it in then a drop down box should appear then select it from there. For the course it depends if its a BA/BSC etc., how long it is, 3/4 years etc. and if you're doing a placement year or not.

Sorry if that doesn't help, the whole thing's a right pain in the arse!

Queens is my insurance but when I did my application I tried putting it in and it wasn't there which was really confussing, but I put my firm choice and it found it.. I don't know if it's because it's in NI, or you have to put the name or code of it differently.. Is there a way you can enter the name manually?

Hi everyone! I received an offer for Queens for English On my UCAS Track cover letter it says the requirements are BBB, yet when I visited the March open day they said it was ABB? Any ideas? Little confused:

This was posted from The Student Room's iPhone/iPad App
I've got an offer for English too! Yay hopefully will be seeing you in September and if you got a B or higher at AS in the subject you dropped it's BBB, if you didn't then it's ABB

Hey! Hopefully starting this September doing Biomedical Sciences, although my offer is ABB/ABC with the A in Biology or Chemistry, and I'm seriously doubting I could get it!
Anyone know if Queen's are at all flexible with the grades?

Also, is anyone else going from Wales? I feel like the only one haha!

I just find Chemistry exams so difficult! I understand all the work, but it comes to the exams and I'm hopeless

I think I could've gotten the A in Biology, but I made a massive mistake in my last exam and basically kissed goodbye to an A in that. I hope they'll be a little flexible with grades

I don't think Queens are that flexible to be honest, espically for high demand courses such as the Science ones.

Hi! My name's Elise. I'm heading to Queen's from America in September for the Comparative Ethnic Conflict MA program. I haven't figured out where I'll be living yet, eeek. Is anyone else in the CEC program? Or an international student?

    See you all around!

Hi Elise, I'm Timothy, also from the US. I'm doing to the MA in Violence, Terrorism & Security. Not the same program, but the same school (PISP) at least.

I might be coming from Cornwall, so most likely to fly there, which is a bit annoying because i wont be able to take much stuff, but then again its a fast way to get there
