    Hello everyone :hi:

There is a support group being formed at King's for people with asperger's. Happy that something is being set up

I also raised £124 for the National Autistic Society. Very happy indeed

    So, when's the next one?

Attended support group today and have been told by the lovely branch manager that she's going to help with the ATOS / ESA situation and the crap going on with the work programme, who aren't meant to be contacting me; but are.

It's because of them I'm on ESA in the first place.

I might do one in October, but haven't had a chance to really plan what I would do to raise money :yep: (although I could train for a 10K run :yep:)

:hugs: that situation sounds really annoying. I hope it gets sorted out though :hugs:

Apparently, I'm not entitled to my report unless it's requested by a solicitor. And I wasn't told this for almost 4 months because?

So pissed off about this. I am asking for a report which I was led to believe I was entitled to.

Ugh, what crap. You've got every right to be furious  Can you go down the solicitor route or is this the end of getting hold of it?

I am also trying to sort out a MAJOR headache

I have a conditional university offer

Because it's a Medicine offer, I had to have an occupational health assessment before it was all unconditional

I got the grades, so I went to the OH appointment last week. And the doctor said he would draft the letter/report that day and it would be emailed off on Monday to the Medical School

So it comes to yesterday - still no unconditional offer. So I phone the University, who tell me they have recieved nothing at all from OH

So I phone OH - and the woman on the phone checks on her computer, and tells me that yes, they sent the letter/report off.....to someone ON ANNUAL LEAVE. Just bowled over by the sensible-ness of that. The woman knew that person was on leave, she didn't even need to check before telling me that. So why was it sent to that email address in the first place?

So the woman says she will email it to someone else at the medical school

So I phone the university back again, to make sure the someone else is there, and let them know what happened

And now, I wait....while everyone else in my year gets welcome packs, and accomodation offers, etc etc. And I am not happy

I am going to write a letter both to my GP and CMHT and see what they say. There is an exception to allowing me to see this report - it's to do with said report affecting my health. This doesn't apply and they have no evidence at all which would state that I would be affected.

    I can't afford a solicitor.

I hope you get your issue sorted.

I'm about to finish. It means I leave with an HNC. I wanted to do a degree; but am really not enjoying my course at all.

Does anyone have issues with time management and how do you deal with it, please?

Yes. It's not helped by professionals telling me "we have no idea what your prognosis is".

I literally get paranoid about anything I've not noticed before, from cysts, bruises that look a bit funny, weight being a tiny bit lower than I thought, get worried about sore throats. Its horrible, trying to tell yourself there is nothing wrong.
