Weight loss support + PICS :)
Hey guys, I have recently decided i need to actually go on that diet and get healthy rather than just think about it!

at the moment I'm 5'8" weigh 85kg (bmi of 29.somethingishh?) and am a size 16

a few years ago I was a size 8-10 and would love to be something near this again!

i was planning on simply eating less/ healthier (around 1300 cals a day?) and exercising a lot more, but what i really need help with is motivation!!

I have attatched 2 pics from when i was a size 8-10 and a few at the weight i am now to compare.

ps. sorry for the pose-y pictures!

The best of luck with the weight loss! You know you've been at the weight you want to be before so you know it's doable. Just try not to crash diet; lose the weight steadily and consistently and you'll be there in no-time and keeping the weight off

    also;

    you're really pretty

    seconded :awesome:

Don't crash diet, do it properly and it'll stay off. Remember you have to change your lifestyle, not change it for a few months, and then go back to your old ways.

    Also, I would.

I think it was around 8-9 stone? can't remember exactly but i think my target for the moment is 10 stone, and then will see how it goes from there.

also thanks everyone for the support!

The way that your body holds itself makes you look really good, even when you are heavier, you are so lucky. You still have a good figure.

Anyway, so you are looking to lose about 50lb. I would recommend weightwatchers. It depends on your lifestyle and whether its convenient for you, but I lost 42lb in 6 months. Good luck with your weight loss!

You're very pretty! I think you'd look best somewhere in the middle of where you are now and when you were a size 8. I think because you're tall you can pull it off. Good luck

When British girls start drinking at about 17 they get fat. You do the math.

(I think the drink in your hand on the 1st photo proves my point.)

I'd second the "stop drinking" sentiment. As for food, I'd recommend Joel Fuhrman as a go-to for weight loss.

Do squats, deadlifts, lunges and sprints. You could pull off that curvy Latina look really well. You will probably just eat too little and do cardio though and look worse for it.
