Most beautiful Oxbridge college. You vote, you decide.

Poll

So which is your favourite?

I have put together some pictures of arguably the 3 most beautiful Oxford and Cambridge colleges. You decide which you think is most stunning. They are all grand places, and the students at these colleges are rather fortunate. I have chosen pictures of the main grounds, the hall, chapels and libraries of the following colleges.

everyone's just going to pick their's (assuming they go/are going to go to oxbridge)...
on that note, King's is the best

But there are 70-odd colleges that make up Oxford and Cambridge. Only 6 to choose :P. And hopefully, since the colleges are of roughly equal size, the votes of those who are supporting their college simply because they go there will cancel each other out.

:hmmm:

Lady Margaret Hall is clearly the most beautiful. :fuhrer:

This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they gave me an offer. :colonhash:

I appreciate there's over 60 colleges that make up Oxbridge, however it's very hard to rank them in beauty, as students probably have only attended either Oxford or Cambridge, and even then have not seen or appreciated the beauty of all or most colleges on offer. Furthermore, most students have not even attended Oxbridge. Therefore, the only way for them to perceive beauty is through carefully photographed images, which may not be representative of beauty, as you can quite easily hand-pick the ones YOU find beautiful, and also filter out the negatives which can exist in these colleges.

Henceforth, I doubt this will be conclusive or unbiased, and may really be seen as what TSR students, whom don't necessarily attend any of these colleges, think of their beauty based on images the OP picked, of only 6 available options (which happen to be some of the most popular or largest colleges).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so never will be objective. I tried to be fair and picked the nicest photos of each college I could find. But yeah, you do have a point.

Still, it's nice to drool over these pictures every now and then.

hmm... this is true :P
I don't go to Oxbridge, but I voted Magdalen, with St John's being a close contender. To be honest they're all great though!

Merton would have been 4th on my list . All Souls=ultra prestigious and had the coolest library and was right next to the Radcliffe Camera . Christ Church=Hogwarts and Magdalen= best river views. Merton I'm afraid had to be excluded.

We need to do a sequel after this thread of ugliest Oxbridge colleges  See what gets thrown up.

Merton is better looking than those, just like New, Trinity (ox), St John's (ox) and maybe even worchester (depending on if you get a good angle).
