help on choosing a problem to solve

Hello! Am currently thinking about a problem, found in everyday life, which can be solved by using a computer. I just need one specific problem and not as those concerning libraries or video club management. Instead, I need only one problem.... I need this for the Paper 2 of Cambridge A-Level Computing, the Practical Task....
Can someone help me in finding ideas on what to base this task?? Please help me....
***For example, 1 friend has decided to base his task on the part that needs to calculate fines in a library system.

Anything to calculate costs, like a mail order service

Any sort of stock level calculations

Anything needed for data processing such as bank record searching.
