    Violin Tuning/Sound Post help
    Hi guys,
I was tuning a violin today, all new strings and while I was tuning it the bridge collapsed. It wasn't broken it just fell over. When I was resetting the bridge I noticed that the sound post was dislodged. Essentially, my question is; Did my tuning cause the sound-post to dislodge?

I doubt it. You should get it fixed by a trusted professional though. And release the strings, otherwise you could quite possibly break the violin. Not fun.

Thanks, all fixed now. Yep, I loosened all the string the moment I spotted the problem.
