Re: CURRENT YEAR 12s-Hopeful Medics (Mk. II)!It varies, UCL wants BB in English lang and maths, but some one 8A*s like Birmingham, the key to doing well in ucas, is which medical schools, as some put more emphasis on gcse, some BMAT or ukcat.(Original post by translucent)
I'm taking on a AS next year; something not too demanding and really engjoyable - philosophy. good choice? or should I take english lit, which I also like a lot but I don't think I have time to read and write essays.. not with doing maths, chem, and bio too
and what is basic requirement for GCSEs?
I know you need atleast B in english language, that I have and I'm not worried about my a level grades I'm well aware I need atleast all As, even better all A* that little extra for not having 8 As at GCSE (that probably most applicant will have :/)
Having 4A* or 5A* and other As will but you in perfect position.Last edited by NitroAbdi; 27-01-2012 at 21:30. -

Re: CURRENT YEAR 12s-Hopeful Medics (Mk. II)!This is both wrong and bizzare.(Original post by NitroAbdi)
Most childhood illness or birth defects often affect the nervous system, so i would like to help young child to live a fine, and life-filled life.
The first thing about childhood illnesses is wrong and all peadeatricans help child to have better medical outcomes, how can a life be more life filled.
Sorry rant over. -
