Me and four friends want to go on a girls holiday. One of us loves going out etc and the rest of us do (well, I don't drink) but aren't as bothered as she is about how busy the holiday destination will be at night...

Basically, where's a good place to go that has things to do during the day and a nice beach but has good nightlife? None of us are keen on places like kavos, maga, sunny beach etc


Sorry forgot to mention - Budget would probably be £500 max. Ideally.... low to mid 400s.. We have found prices in the mid 300s in Lanzarote (Costa del carmen) that looked good too though

Anywhere where there's going to be the sort of student nightlife that your friend seems to enjoy is going to be more or less dead in terms of culture.

I went to Lanzarote, and it was lovely - a lot of culture and things to do if you want to, and there were some nice places to go for a cocktail at night

Just dont goto a slutty beach resort then...Goto somewhere on the coast of italy, or spain...

My friends and I went to Zante in Greece and had an amazing time- at night it is very much a slutty clubbing resort (our hotel offered "vajazzle" parties xD) but it also had a nice beach and you could go out turtle spotting and stuff.

Barcelona! Absolutely loads to do in the day, has a beach and if you wanted to go out there were loads of people with flyers offering free entry to places with champagne and chocolate fountains in the evening, we also went to the icebar which is on the beachfront

I agree, Lanzarote. It's much quieter during the day but you can have a good time at night too. There aren't any big clubs (that I could find anyway) but there is like a strip with smaller places and bars etc.

Defiantly recommend Red Sea resorts in Egypt. How about Sharm El Sheikh, Gouna or Hurghada?

My friends and I are going to Ibizzzaaa! But we were looking at Budapest - beaches, cultural and has a good club scene (apparently).

Errr just to let you know, Budapest is inland so there are no beaches!

I know, i read they had developed ones along rivers, i wasnt sure if it was too true though. But i did know its inland, thanks.

We were actually seriously thinking about Lanzarote! Which resort did you stay in? We were thinking Peurto Del Carmen but are there better places?
